Phaedra Parks is spilling the tea on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17!
The fan-favorite Housewife stopped by to chat about hosting the ladies’ dramatic cast trip to Scotland, teased what’s in store for the highly anticipated reunion, and shared exciting details about her upcoming appearance at the first-ever Dancing with the Stars fan festival.
Phaedra revealed she’s thrilled to be part of the inaugural immersive Dancing with the Stars experience, where fans can enjoy live dancing, interactive activities, and Q&A panels with cast members.
“It’s going to be great because it’s the first time Dancing with the Stars is having an immersive fan event. You’ll be able to dance, attend Q&A panels, and I’ll be dancing too, so I’m starting rehearsals this week!”
When the conversation turned to RHOA, Andy Cohen joked that no matter who plans the annual cast trip, the ladies never seem grateful. Instead, the drama usually begins with complaints over room assignments before spiraling into complete chaos.
Phaedra admitted that, fortunately, the accommodations weren’t the issue this time around.
“We stayed in a beautiful castle and everyone had great rooms,” she said. “The rooms weren’t the problem—but there were definitely plenty of other issues.”
As for the Season 17 reunion, which was recently filmed in New York City, Phaedra teased that fans should prepare themselves for some major surprises.
“There are bombshell announcements,” she hinted, staying tight-lipped on the details. “Of course there’s a lot of screaming, a little crying, and some very interesting reveals. Plus, we’ve got a new songstress in the group.”
Andy also asked if she made it through the reunion without taking too many hits.
“I believe so,” Phaedra laughed. “I’m a phoenix, honey.”
The conversation wrapped with Phaedra sharing her thoughts on the season’s newest Housewives. She praised K. Michelle, saying the two have developed a great relationship, while describing newcomer Pinky as “very interesting.”
“She’s like a walking TED Talk,” Phaedra joked. “She knows everything. I’m a pretty learned person myself, so it’s interesting being around someone who thinks they’re just as smart as I am.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
