I’ve always been an avid reader. As a child, I loved getting lost in all kinds of literature, it was my favorite way to escape everyday life. Books opened up a whole new world for me, full of learning, imagination, and discovery.
When my kids were little, we practically lived at the library or Barnes & Noble. I made it a tradition to let them choose a new book each week, and it became something we all looked forward to.
Now, it brings me so much joy to see my grandson, Legend, developing the same love for reading. His kindergarten teacher recently shared that he’s reading at a second-grade level, and I couldn’t be more proud!
