Talking With Tami On Christal Jordan Presents ‘The Conversation’

Hey guys, I had the pleasure of doing a live streaming show yesterday and it was so much fun. I’ve been knowing Author and Media Personality Christal Jordan for quite some time now! We met at People Tv when I started my talk show back in 2005! At the time, both of us were married but Christal was going through a divorce while I was married. I was new to Atlanta and was starting to meet people in the entertainment industry frequently. Christal had already had a book out and I had her own my show as a guest when she offered to help write some of my segments and that’s how we became friends.

Fast forward to now.  We all know that I went through a divorce a few years back and have been getting my life back on track. I was watching a local morning talk show here in ATL when I saw a familiar face and it was Christal! She was on a new talk show here called, Portia. Christal was a guest talking about her new book, Dear Alpha Female It’s Not Him, It’s You! She was also chatting about relationships and dating in Atlanta. She teaches workshops have panels and more about relationships, love and more. I felt the urge to contact her and tell her what a great job she did on the show. More inside…

That’s when she told me she saw my announcement of my engagement on social media and congratulated me. She asked me if I would be a guest on her show to talk about how I met the love of my life and how I felt about dating after 50. I was happy to be on last night and the video clip is below. It was recorded live and people were able to ask me questions and leave comments. I gave advice to hopeless romantics out there and how Stan and I met. I hope that my words give encouragement out there and I do remember from the conversation yesterday stating that I felt that although Atlanta is a city that is not very good for dating for women since it’s 25 to one. I still felt in my mind that I would meet someone that I truly would fall in love with again, I never gave up hope and I kept my options open. Stan was looking for the same thing as well. They are out there ladies, just keep hope alive! It was such a great experience being on Christals show and I’m also glad that she found love again as well and got married in 2021. God is good!
