Janet Jackson is one of my favorite celebrities of my generation ever since she was a little girl and when she was casted on the hit tv show, Different World as Willis Jackson’s(Todd Bridges) girlfriend Charlene. I always been a huge fan! I loved her fun and edgy style and her wild hair. Then we have the famous video, Pleasure Principle that came out in 1986 and I fell in love with her all over again!
She was honored over the weekend during Essence Festival at AT&T’s Dream in Black honors Women of Color dinner. She looked fabulous at the event with her big hoop earrings, big hair and lovely plaid black and white dress with white sneakers. Always edgy, always unapologetically Janet!
