Cardi B once again turned the Met Gala into her runway, sending fashion hearts soaring “Up.”
On Monday, May 5, the Grammy-winning style chameleon made a show-stopping entrance at the 2025 Met Gala in a luxe custom Burberry ensemble by Daniel Lee. Drenched in a rich ivy green, the textured suit was a masterclass in monochromatic elegance, perfectly echoing her green-hued contacts and eyeshadow for a striking tonal moment.
Beneath the tailored coat, Cardi wore a silk devoré blouse adorned with romantic ruffles at the collar and cuffs—an opulent pairing to the lush velvet trousers. A subtle cutout in the back gave a glimpse of her signature floral tattoos, adding a rebellious flourish to the refined silhouette.
Once upon a time, I owned my very own nail salon and worked as a nail tech for over 10 years! It’s always such a thrill to see the creative, over-the-top nail art celebrities rock on the red carpet—so inspiring and full of personality!
Celebrity nail artist and OPI Global Ambassador Coca Michelle designed a printed green velvet manicure for Cardi B’s’s MET Gala look using products by OPI. Coca created the printed look using a combination of OPI’s classic color, Suzi The First Lady of Nails and Ozitively Elphaba from the OPI x Wicked Collection. See how she achieved the red carpet moment inside…
